Information you enter
The tools run in your browser. They do not create an account or send planner notes, race names, finish goals, clothing preferences, or lacing selections to Savor the Run. Some tools can place settings in the page URL so you can bookmark or share that exact view.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics is optional. Its script does not load unless you select “Allow analytics,” and you can change that choice through “Analytics settings” in the footer. The choice is saved in your browser.
When allowed, we send page paths and a small set of interactions—such as building a calendar, loading a forecast, choosing a lacing option, printing, or copying a share link—to understand which parts of the site are useful. We strip query strings and do not send planner entries, race names, notes, city or ZIP searches, coordinates, or forecast locations. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals are disabled.
Google may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type, and approximate geography when its analytics script loads. Read Google’s privacy policy.
Server records
The web server may create standard operational request logs when pages and assets are requested. These logs support reliability and security.
Correction reports
The public correction form is paused. This website does not currently collect correction reports, names, or email addresses. We will update this page if a privacy-safe reporting channel becomes available.
Weather and location
The clothing tool contacts Open-Meteo only when you search for a place, choose “Use my location,” or return after saving a weather location. The request sends the searched place or coordinates and standard connection information, including your IP address, directly from your browser to Open-Meteo. Open-Meteo may retain server logs containing IP addresses and coordinates for maintenance and abuse prevention.
“Use my location” asks for browser permission when you select it. We round device coordinates before requesting a forecast. Your last selected weather location is stored in your browser so the forecast can load on a future visit; it is not stored in a Savor the Run account or database. Use “Forget place” in the clothing tool to remove it. Manual weather controls remain available without location access.
